With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Llahnna Rene Deasy, 56. Llahnna died peacefully in her sleep at home in Phoenix, Ariz., on Jan. 26, 2013, at 4:30 a.m. from pulmonary fibrosis.
Llahnna was born in Walla Walla, Wash., on Jan 31, 1956, to Ellis George Deasy and Anna Belle King Deasy. She attended Chemeketa Colllege in Salem, Ore. She lived in many places, including Montana, Arizona, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. She worked as a certified nursing assistant before retiring.
Llahnna will be especially remembered for her unfailing love of animals, spirit of adventure, and her love of travelling.
Survivors include her life companion Alice Robb; her daughters: Pauline Thompson of Midland, Texas, and LeAnne Loukojarvi of Portland, Ore.; brother Ellis H. Deasy of Eureka; sister Leyah Dilka of Eureka; great nephew Andrew Deasy of Phoenix, Ariz.; and great-niece Heather Deasy of Goodyear, Ariz; as well as eight grandchildren. All will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, at Tempe Town Lake in Tempe, Ariz.
