Opal F. Frost

Opal F. Frost, 84, a longtime Eureka resident, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at Health Center Northwest.

She was born March 4, 1929, in Orange, Va., to James and Sally Roberts.  She was raised on a small farm in Virginia, where she often helped her dad with the chores.  Opal’s dad often referred to her as his little tomboy.

After graduating high school, Opal moved to Montana.  There Opal met Wayne Frost, and they were married June 28, 1947, in Hardin.

They made their home on Sinclair Creek near Eureka.  They were happily married for 66 years.

Opal enjoyed camping and gardening.

A son, Larry, and nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include husband Wayne Frost of Eureka; Barb Roose of Missoula; Brad Frost of Denver, Colo.

Services were Friday, July 5, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Eureka.
