Conrad Malecha
Conrad David Malecha passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
He was our local handyman hero, a lawn care enthusiast, a Navy veteran, a dedicated friend, and a supportive father and grandfather. Conrad touched many lives, more than he ever knew.
He made friends one lawn and campfire at a time. He was willing to help anyone in need, as he was a very kind-hearted man. Also known for his fierce camp-fire and coffee-making skills and his incredible ability to make everyone laugh, Conrad will be forever remembered and held close in the hearts of his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth; two sisters, Betty and Anne Marie; and one brother, Gerald.
Conrad is survived by his two daughters: Bailey Malecha; and Malissa Levy, her husband Doug and children Delaney, Madison, Dalton, and Dawson of Owatonna, Minn.; one son, Adam Peterson and wife Roxanne) of Manhattan, Kan.; siblings and families, Peggy and Chuck Voge; Patricia Hallquist; Leonard and Argyle Malecha; John and Marilyn Malecha; Bob Malecha; Don and Debbie Malecha; Fran Malecha; Bill and Sharon Malecha; Sharon and Clete Hering; and Mike and Becky Malecha; and extended family and close friends.
There will be a celebration of Conrad’s life at Camp 32 at a date to be determined.
