Dale Lucore

Dale Lucore, 51, of Eureka, died of natural causes Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Kalispell Regional Hospital.

He was born June 17, 1961, at Fullerton, Calif., to Frances C. Lucore III and Mary Sue (Sharpe).

He attended Earl Warren Elementary School in Garden Grove, Calif.  He went to  Meadow Brook School for sixth, seventh, and eighth grades and then Mount Carmel School for freshman and sophomore years both at Poway, Calif.   He was at Gooding High School in Wendell, Idaho, until the junior year, then got his GED in November 1983.

He attended college in southern Idaho and Seattle, Wash., for a degree in graphic arts.  He enjoyed his family, friends, cats and computer art.  He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps as a field radio operator until his honorable discharge in 1982. He was a long haul truck driver cross country for Lucore Trucking and MT Express.

He married Anne K. Nelson June 14, 1985, and they were later divorced. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sue Lucore, and a sister, Susan Frances Lucore.

Survivors include his father, Francis C. Lucore III; a brother, Warren Terry Lucore and wife Joetta,  all of El Paso, Texas; a sister, Kathleen Ann Herres and husband Robert of Eureka;  brother Francis C. Lucore IV and wife Shannon of Tampa Bay, Fla.,; daughter Britini Catyln Lucore of Godrey, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services are being held.

Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka.
